SKODA will be launching OCTAVIA RS by this month . The review blog of Octavia RS will be done after its launching , this blog is only to inform you about confirmation about launch of Skoda Octavia RS . Skoda Octavia RS booking has started with token amount of 1 Lakh.
Internationly Octavia RS available with two engine options as
- 1.8 Lt PETROL ,TURBOCHARGE , 4 CYLINDER , 220 BHP
- 2 .0 Lt DIESEL , 184 BHP , 380 NM of TORQUE .
In INDIA we will geting Engine options as
- 2.0 Lt TSI PETROL ENGINE
- 2.0 Lt TDI DIESEL ENGINE
Both these engine are available with 6 - Speed manual and 6 - Speed DSG unit . There is also 4*4 Variant available with 2.0 TSI ENGINE option. Skoda Octavia RS 2.0 TSI variant will perform -100 kmph in 6.7 sec . It is equiped with ELECTRONIC LIMITED SLIP DIFFRENTIAL . This differential transfer more power to outer wheels during cornering . According to reports it may get ESP , Paddle shifter , Traction control .
Skoda Octavia RS have Drive Assist system . This system enables features like Lane Assist , Blind spot managment , Traffic Alert . Skoda has provided THREE spoke flat bottom Steering wheel , leather wrapped gear lever , Touchscreen Infotainment system . This infotainment system is 9.2 inch in size and has connectivity with Apple Carplay , Android Auto . It also has Dual Zone climate control .
Skoda Octavia RS gets all new Sporty Bumper , Mesh grille and black coloured headlamps . It looks more Sporty than older vairant . At rear it gets Tailgate Spoiler , Stainless steel Tailpipes , Dual Exhuast , LED rear light Cluster , RS Badge . Skoda Octavia also comes with new Sporty Alloy wheels with bigger tyre size .
